Lake Norman Solar is a family owned, family operated business. Our family has a varied background with certain individuals with strong ties and long experience in Retail, Marketing, Finance, Construction and Environmental conservation.

Especially with the price of purchased energy and the announcement of the tax credit incentives, we knew the time was right to make a difference and provide consumers products that would help them not only save money, but reduce the impact to the environment.

Originally, we decided to open a retail store and slowly realized peoplewere more comfortable with us coming to them. Though we try andstandardize our products removing hidden costs, each application isdifferent. In order to truly provide a system that will perform for thecustomer, an on site visit is needed.

The economy has changed in a number of ways with the largest being the cost of energy. In the United States, we source our energy from the burning of coal, nuclear, gas and oil and a small amount from clean energy. Though we have come along way with reducing emissions it still has a long way to go. Reducing the environmental impact is everyone's responsibility. Our children will live with the decisions we make. We believe it's a "No-Brainer" to invest in a product that saves not only the environment but your hard earned money.

We have teamed with another company to provide solar technical advice and perform actual installations. The lead person in this company has 25 years experience in the solar industry, specifically in California and the Carolinas.

Our goal is to only offer products that we can feel good about providing great environmental savings, financial benefits and convenience to the home.
